Butkus asked:

I have a Panasonic TH-50PX700U plasma tv connected to Directv. I am sitting here watching a football game on NBC HD. Everytime there is a lot of motion on the screen I see pixels. Then when the motion slows down or stops, the picture returns to normal. How do I get rid of this problem? Also, are there optimum settings for my TV instead of what Panasonic programs in at the factory?

What is the easiest way to smooth out the edges of a blown-up image so that you can’t identify the pixels? that is, in photoshop if that is easier–or is that more for illustrator–I’m not really sure when I should use which program?

Jonathan asked:

I purchased a Nikon D40 last December, recently, I’ve found a second hot pixel. I found another one earlier back in February. The first hot pixel was an obvious red, large in size, the new one is blue, and small in size, thus, less noticeable. I know people who’ve had a D70 for years and yet have not had a single hot pixel. I’ve also read that it’s normal for cameras to develop hot pixels as it ages. I was wondering, for a half-year-old D40, is two hot pixels unacceptable?
Anyone else had hot pixel issues?
No, I made sure that these two pixels are two different locations. Nikon DSLR’s can only be mapped by a repair center. I like idea of shooting a dust reference photo.
